Initiated in Canada, it is slowing spreading around the world. If you see this hand signal then discreetly find a way to take the person aside to a place of safety, where contact can be made with the authorities or help organizations.

If you ever get lost when out rambling or hiking, or your car breaks down in a deserted area, and your mobile phone is running low on power, quickly record a 'Voicemail' to a message that gives the time, your location, and information about your predicament. and also what your intentions are, e.g. 'I am walking towards the town", or "I am staying with the car!" and request help.
Even if your phone battery dies, the voicemail message will be heard by whoever rings your number, and will know where to find you or where to send help.
If you have an iPhone, make sure you set up the Emergency SOS feature and the Medical ID Feature.
